The Parents and Citizens' Association (P&C) plays a vital role in facilitation, cooperation and a sense of community between teachers, parents and students to assist our school to achieve its full potential as an educational environment for our children.
P&C meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month (during the school term) at 6:30pm and are now held online, due to current restrictions.
Everyone is welcome including children.
RSVP is essential by email.
What happens at a P&C meeting?
- Hear from the Principal on what is happening at our school.
- Learn a bit more about the activities being held at our school.
- Share ideas and provide feedback.
- Offer your expertise in an area.
- Meet and just get to know more about our school community.
How do I attend a P&C meeting?
Email pandcaps2477@gmail.com to let the Secretary know of your interest and you will be sent the meeting agenda, and information on how to join the meeting.
What does the P&C do?
- Encourages parent participation in curriculum and other educational issues
- Shares information to benefit the school community
- Represents the school on community issues (eg. school signage, pedestrian crossings around the school)
- Provides facilities and equipment for the school via fundraising efforts like the second-hand uniform shop, BBQs, Mother’s and Father’s Day gift stalls, grant funding and much more
Any fundraising help or involvement is always greatly appreciated, whether you can offer your time volunteering at a BBQ, event or contribute in other ways, we are always grateful of any help or support.
What if I can’t attend the meetings, wish to receive meeting minutes, or want to know more about the P&C?
Email pandcaps2477@gmail.com if you are unable to attend and want to provide any comments or suggestions or just sign up to receive the monthly meeting minutes, Principal's report and other meeting documents.
