The gardening club is for any students in the school. The students have developed a productive vegetable garden which they are responsible for maintaining the weeds and watering. All produce produced in the garden is donated to the school canteen to be used as ingredients for lunch orders or sold to parents or the community. The money raised is then used to purchase more seeds and seedlings. Later this year, the gardening club will be expanding to develop compost bins and worm gardens.
