Crunch and sip

All children are encouraged to participate in the crunch and sip program by bringing water, fruit and vegetable pieces for their fruit break during class.

Peer tutoring

Older primary classes support our younger students with a weekly one on one buddy reading program. This program focuses on developing reading skills, self-confidence, and self-esteem.

Life education

The life education van visits the school annually for all Kinder to Year 4 classes. Students are taught about healthy living with an emphasis on drug education.

Interrelate

The school offers the program 'Minding Me' for Year 5 students designed in response to the needs of younger students for basic, simple information on change and puberty.  The program for Year 6 'Moving in the Teens' is designed to address the concerns raised by teachers and parents. Both programs have been correlated to meet outcomes expected on Sexuality and Relationships in the NSW personal development, health, and physical education syllabus. The programs are presented by a trained counselor.
