Every year, Stage 3 students have the opportunity to take part in Write A Book In A Day (WABIAD). WABIAD requires students to be at school from 6am to 6pm, during which time they work collaboratively to write, edit, illustrate and publish a book based on parameters given to them on the day. Students get sponsored to take part with all money going to the Kids Cancer Project. The books the students write are distributing around kids cancer wards all around Australia. APS students have raised over $15,000 dollars in the last 5 years. Watch the video below to see how they went this year!
