Cool Blue - NSW Debating Champions

APS Cool Blue debating team has been crowned NSW Champions after 3 days and 6 debates at the NSW Debating Finals in Sydney this week.

Cool Blue lost only 1 debate in the preliminary rounds, falling to Orange PS. On the way, they accounted for Terrigal PS, Wakehurst PS, Concord West PS in the preliminary rounds and Deniliquin North PS in the semi final.

Cool Blue competed against Randwick PS in the final and came out unamious winners, successfully arguing that "Kids should be given a second chance to complete their assignments if they get a bad mark". 

This is the second time that APS has won the state debating title. The first time was on 2011.
